We offer a choice of configurations to suit all travelers' needs - double, twin and triple - contact us to discuss your options. The rooms are spacious and airy, and attention to every detail has been paid to ensure your comfort and convenience. Choose from rooms with glimpses of the sea across the Sea Point rooftops, rooms with a magnificent view of Lion's Head mountain, or pool-facing rooms overlooking our tropical garden. HISTORY OF THE HOUSE Two Twenty-Four was built in 1919, as the Sports Centre
for Sea Point. Playing fields
and polo grounds used to surround the house, but gradually through the
20th century, the suburb of Fresnaye grew up around it. This
distinctive house has recently been lovingly restored.
The airy cool interior has been finished in an eclectic mix of
traditional features, bold contemporary styling and avant-garde design. Commissioned
artworks, chrome, mosaic, slate and elegant furnishings blend tastefully
with the original century-old Oregon pine floors and high ceilings. Guests are
free to enjoy the lounge, with its television, music and books, or to sit
on the shady verandah, or relax on a lounger by the pool. |

Two Twenty-Four The Guest House is in Fresnaye, on the side of the Lions Head Mountain, just a few blocks from the Sea Point promenade, and its many restaurants, boutiques, shopping centres and the beachfront. We are just a short drive to the Waterfront, the Cape Town International Conference Centre, the new Cape Town Stadium, Canal Walk and the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Conveniently situated in the heart of the Atlantic Seaboard, ideal for the business and tourist traveler. Do you need a small venue for business meetings or to do your personnel interviews? Two Twenty-Four provides a peaceful, discreet and practical location for you to chat to your prospective employees or discuss business. Waiting area and comfortable lounge.
